The discovery of Carnets d’Equateur, the latest porcelain tableware collection from Hermès, is a return to the beginnings of life on earth, enlivened by wild creatures taken from the iconic drawings of Robert Dallet.
Charcoal, pencil and ink sketches, and gouaches: each individual piece is devoted to one of these techniques that combine on the table in delicate graphic and chromatic harmonies.
The table service includes plates, salad bowls, soup tureens, bowls, cups, coffee and breakfast cups, teapots, cream and sugar dispensers, vases and pocket caddies. From each of them, monkeys run to hide, birds take flight, the motifs expand and scatter, adapting to and covering the curves of the porcelain.
