The new lounge in Rome is the third interior design project by Studio Marco Piva for the Italian airline

The new Casa Alitalia lounge has opened at departures area E of the Leonardo da Vinci airport of Rome Fiumicino. The interior design by Studio Marco Piva is the third project for the airline, created to welcome visitors while conveying a sense of the Italian lifestyle through design, offering the highest levels of comfort and excellence.

With an area of 1000 m2, the lounge built by Grottini stands out for its functional efficacy, based on careful study of the spaces to provide different areas for different types of visitors, from tourists to businessmen, with theme zones ranging from a wine cellar to a relaxation area, and an area for cooking demonstrations.

The large entrance gate is in Titanium Travertine, with forceful geometric lines, in contrast with other materials like the aluminium of Alulife, the glass from Brand Glass, the laminate of the new generation Fenix TNT by Arpa Industriale, and products provided by prestigious Italian manufacturers like Ceramica Cielo, Flos, La Palma, Marazzi, Martini Illuminazione, Poltrona Frau.

Particular care has gone into the selection of complements and objects, as well as the careful variety of books in the impressive bookcase, also featuring pieces from the ceramics collections of Bitossi and Richard Ginori.
