An exclusive series of images published by Nikon shows Melissa Chapski, prima ballerina of the Junior Company of the Dutch National Ballet, in the first performance of the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy from the Nutcracker Suite, in nearly total darkness.

Melissa was filmed while dancing to demonstrate the capacity of the Nikon D3400, the DX format reflex for photography beginners, in poor lighting conditions.

The photographer of the English National Ballet and the dancer Laurent Liotardo shot the images with the D3400 in this exclusive shoot at the De Brakke Grond theater in Amsterdam.
