Politecnica, the integrated design firm – architecture, engineering and urban planning – has created a new international project, the headquarters of the East African Kidney Institute Centre of Excellence in Nairobi, Kenya.
The new center is not only for local patients, but also inhabitants of other countries like Ethiopia, Somalia and Tanzania.
With an overall area of 15,000 m2, for an estimated total investment on the part of the Ministry of Health of Kenya of about 16 million euros, the project is at the center of the metropolitan area, in a large park.
The five-story building becomes a landmark with its contemporary character and iconic volumes.
