Recently opened at Porta Venezia, the new project by Vudafieri Saverino Partners is the realm of the master boulanger Thierry Loy, who brings his art of bread making to Milan after learning it in a small town in the French Alps.

Égalité at Via Melzo 22 offers a corner of France with a rather retro image, featuring wooden shelves and theatrical baskets full of light, fragrant bread.

The space, open from breakfast to aperitif time, is faced with pale tiles enhanced by the light from the many windows. The style is a reinterpretation of the typical design of bakeries in the 1950s, with a very colorful, glossy sales area and an impressive zinc counter. Small islands with high and low tables, chairs and stools in wrought iron complete the Parisian cafe image.
