The Eolique suspension lamp (designed by Paolo Benevelli, produced by Officinanove) is generated by the movement of a basic geometric matrix. Its laser-cut aluminium wings rotate and make it possible to control the light, triggering particular effects.

Besides acting as light diffusers, the wings act as an effecting cooling system for the LED light source: the heat emitted is dispersed, passing from the central body to the extremities of the wings, to prevent overheating.

The possibility of moving the wings in different directions with the hands makes it possible to give the lamp an ever changing image, while permitting Eolique to become compact for easy packaging and shipping.

Eolique has been selected for the ADI Design Index 2016.
