Spazio Extra MAXXI – until 22 July 2018
Fondazione Mast, in collaboration with the MAXXI museum, presents the photographic experiments made by children at the Nido Scuola MAST kindergarten, under the guidance of Nino Migliori, for over 60 years a tireless researcher and artist in the field of photography.
Trees, leaves, hearts, feet, circles, gears. These are just some of the subjects of the 87 images that go into Favole di Luce, the project created by the photography workshop of Nino Migliori with the children – ages 3 to 5 – of the Nido Scuola MAST in Bologna.
The works, on view in Rome at Spazio Extra MAXXI, with the coordination of Pippo Ciorra, Senior Curator of MAXXI Architettura, are the result of experiments conducted by Migliori with the children, using off-camera techniques he invented from the 1940s to the 1970s.
