The famous Italian lighting brand is a part of the new Design Museum of London opened in Kensington on 24 November 2016. In a partnership with Universal Design Studio, the award-winning architecture and interior design firm that has created the Parabola restaurant in the museum, Flos has collaborated with the founders of the studio Edward Barber & Jay Osgerby to make an exclusive lamp to light the tables in the restaurant.

Portable and rechargeable, Bellhop is a wireless lamp that offers comfortable, glare-free lighting, thanks to innovative Edge-Lighting technology. The lamp, in turned aluminium painted in marine blue, operates for six hours on a single charge.

Flos has also supplied the Parabola restaurant with a selection of iconic lamps from the Home collection, including Taccia Small, created by the Castiglioni brothers in 1962, and Mini Glo-Ball by Jasper Morrison, designed in 2002. Flos lamps will also be on sale in the museum store.
