For the 60th anniversary of Spiaggina, Garage Italia and Fiat have prepared two very special tributes.
La Spiaggina by Garage Italia, created by Lapo Elkann, has been made with the technical and engineering contribution of Pininfarina and the support of Fiat.
At the same time, to celebrate the birthday of the iconic 500, Fiat presents the new Spiaggina ’58 special series based on the Fiat 500C.
A carefree spirit, fun and the joy of living are the sensations conveyed at first glance by the Spiaggina by Garage Italia.
With its typical summer colors, Volare blue and Perla white, and with finishings in Garage blue for the roof, as in the tradition of the Spiaggina in the Sixties, all the way to the rear passenger seat that has been transformed into a large compartment with a built-in shower.
These modifications are possible thanks to the technical support of Pininfarina, in collaboration with the staff of Garage Italia for the structural reinforcements.
There are many unique details.
The show car has a lowered nautical windscreen and the covering of the loading bed is in cork staves with a pattern that imitates the teak decks of luxury yachts.
The two front seats have been replaced by a bench made to measure that suggests the typical design of automobiles from the 1960s, enhanced by upholstery in Foglizzo Leather with the colors white and blue, treated for waterproofing.
The Pirelli P Zero Nero GT tires echo the look of cars from the 1950s. The handles, mirrors and studs of the new rims in Fiat 500 Vintage 1957 alloy stand out for their chrome finish.
