William Shakespeare’s tragedy Romeo and Juliet has about 700 years of history. The heroine’s balcony in Verona is the most famous in the world, with its 20 Gothic niches. Over a million visitors flock to the courtyard at Via Cappello 23 every year.

Unfortunately time and everyday wear and tear caused cracks, scrapes and worn zones, making renovation a must.

Testing was carried out in June to assess the structural condition of the balcony and its state of conservation. Based on careful scientific analysis, the restoration sponsored by Tecnored has fully reproduced the original beauty of Juliet’s balcony.
