The new Milan showroom of Jacob Cohen is in the Tortona zone, in a two-story building that is part of the former Richard Ginori factory, restored and transformed into a “village for creativity.”

Behind the austere industrial facade, large spaces contain the showroom, offices, meeting rooms, lounges and an events space. The project by Area-17 Architecture & Interiors features essential lines and clean volumes, formed by glass, mirrors and concrete surfaces. The precious denim inserts, like the capitonné walls or the long drapes, are explicit references to the products of Jacob Cohen.

Baxter has supplied upholstered furnishings, splendid chandeliers and precious tables. The two brands both focus on high-quality materials and craftsmanship. The soft blue leather armchairs in the store area are a special Baxter edition for Cohen, soon to be seen in all the brand’s boutiques around the world.

The color is a clear reference to the hue of the legendary Kurabo denim Cohen imports from Japan.
