In the center of Moscow, a ‘sanctuary’ of wine and an unusual culinary experience.
The name, Grand Cru, is a tribute to the ‘nectar of the gods,‘ in an initiative that brings the excellence of Mediterranean culture to the Russian capital, thanks to the owner and prize-winning chef Adrian Quetglas.
The contemporary setting features walls with a cement effect, compositions of round mirrors of different sizes, and cases in glass and wood to display bottles from all over the world.
The Lips chairs by Alma Design are placed beside square tables with wooden tops, contributing to the image that evokes the qualities of wine: the inner covering of the shell in cobalt blue suggests the color of dark ripe grapes, while the velvet evokes the softness of the skin of the fruit.
The outer shell of Lips, designed by Mario Mazzer, is in iron gray ash wood, like the legs, for an effect of great elegance.
