Lucy by Solenica is the first design robot that brings sunshine into the home. In technical terms Lucy is a heliostat, a device that reflects sunlight, moving to direct it to a fixed point preset by the user.
An intelligent mirror inserted in a sphere, equipped with a solar-driven mechanism for movement: just put Lucy in a sunny place, inside or outside the home, and aim in the direction of the room you want to light. Adjusting the angle of the mirror, Lucy continues to send sunlight in the desired direction throughout the day.
In optimal conditions, Lucy generates the same light as five 100W halogens.
