Locanda Rossa has 12 rooms, 2 suites and 4 apartments, as well as an elegant spa, 2 outdoor pools and a gourmet restaurant.

The resort, previously a simple farmhouse surrounded by abandoned fields, has been completely restyled over a span of two years, to meet high standards of ecosustainability.

The exteriors have been designed by the architect Paolo Cattaneo, who developed a non-invasive approach for harmonious insertion in the natural setting. The choice of the brick red color for the exteriors also reflects the original characteristics of the Tuscan rural landscape.

The green areas have been enhanced by the landscape architect Paolo Pejrone, bringing new balance to the spaces and creating a context of Mediterranean brushland. The facility also boasts extensive olive groves for the production of oil.

The same architectural principles have been applied to the interiors: nature is again the leitmotif of the fine collection of artworks featured in all the spaces. The choice of the works, furnishings, colors and details was done by the interior designer Valeria Giuliani who has made every room exclusive, refined and different from the others.

The La Cucina restaurant (this year with the supervision of prize-winning chef Valeria Piccini) is located on a large veranda: big windows, custom seating, refined lamps and lush plantings form a welcoming environment for guests.
