A strong bond with the territory and a true talent for innovation: the “Nuvola Lavazza” created by the architect Cino Zucchi displays its “future roots” to give form to the values of over 120 years of corporate history

 

It is a Cloud of over 30,000 square meters, which produces ideas and work, food and culture. A cloud open to the world, with the forceful flavor of Italian coffee and that ability typical of clouds to make the imagination soar towards distant vistas, in 90 countries on all the continents. Towards the future.

Nuvola Lavazza means avant-garde offices, designed to offer wellbeing for employees and maximum respect for the environment. It is a signature restaurant, symbol of a new philosophy of informal sharing of food, of a new vision of Italian contemporary cuisine. It is also a museum that accompanies visitors to discover the universe of coffee, its rituals and the Lavazza success story in the world of communication.

The Nuvola is also a plaza, open to the city, with an archaeological area, a large events space for debates, conferences, cultural happenings, music and art. It is a bistro created for the staff but open to the city, and it is also the headquarters of IAAD, the Istituto d’Arte Applicata e Design, with over 700 young creative talents.

A unique project organized by the fourth generation of the Lavazza family, co-create by outstanding names in the fields of architecture, food and design: a “Golden Team” that brings together Cino Zucchi, Ferran Adrià and Federico Zanasi, Dante Ferretti and Ralph Appelbaum.
