With the acquisition of this plant, an investment in technologies of 35 million euros, Laminam has created a new production site for ceramics totally Made in Italy, an efficient automated plant that will double the firm’s production capacity to respond to the growing demand for ceramic tiles on national and international markets.
The total remake of the site transforms the plant for technologies of the latest generation developed by the System group, of which the Modena-based firm is a part: over 44,000 m2 for production lines entirely devoted to the manufacture of large ceramic surfaces of 1620×3240 mm, with various thicknesses up to 12 mm, designed for horizontal planes, from tables to bath and kitchen counters, for both indoor and outdoor use.
