Niederstätter, an Italian form specializing in the sale or rental of construction machinery, equipment and containers, has been chosen for the worksite of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center in Athens, a project by Renzo Piano.
Three Liebherr cranes went into action in Athens at the worksite of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, one of the most important cultural institutions in the Greek capital. The project creates a facility for culture and education, which will contain the National Library and the Greek National Opera, in an immense park of 170,000 square meters.
The site is located about four kilometers from the city center, in the zone that hosted the Olympic Games in 2004. The creation of this cultural complex will give the Greek metropolis an important connection between the city and sea.
