For almost one century the products of KitchenAid have represented the combination of professional performance, attention to detail and iconic design. These are the inspirations behind the new look of the large appliances, and the new products launched for 2016.
Based on the iconic Artisan mixer and the brand’s logo, the new look comes from carefully selected details, as a synonym of high quality and fine craftsmanship: a touch of the historic red, refined materials and emotional appeal, elegant and sophisticated but also discreet finishes.
The highest expression of the new aesthetic, the custom steel tops combine the perfection of KitchenAid manufacturing with the desire for refinement, uniqueness and personalization.
The custom steel cooktops are totally made to measure and customized for size, equipment, accessories and workmanship of the sheet metal. The genesis of the product starts with the customer’s design for a single block in steel, cut, worked, accessorized and welded to order like a true crafted creation. From the design to the finished product, in perfect tune with individual needs and styles of cooking.
What makes these tops unique is the combination of the raw material utilized – stainless steel – and the craftsmanship that goes into the making. Thanks to this artisan approach and great precision in cutting and welding, it is possible to personalize tops to measure with rear, lateral or perimeter risers; dripguard borders on the front or all the sides of the block; beveled 45° edges through careful shaping of the sheet metal, permitting the tops to blend perfectly with the rest of the kitchen.
The great attention to detail can also be seen in the knobs of the gas cooktop: the knurled steel of each knob is carefully turned by hand, one by one, giving the top a final touch of elegant, refined, unique design.
