The prize ceremony at the Triennale di Milano for the 7th Milano Design Award rewarded the best displays and installations of Design Week in Milan.
Among the 40 candidates, the prize went to LG for S.F._Senses of the Future by Tokujin Yoshioka, for its way of engaging viewers and reconciling conceptual, technological and narrative aspects in a single project.
The prize was awarded by Cristina Tajani – councillor for Economic Development, Fashion and Design of the City of Milan – together with Luca Cipelletti, winner of the 2016 edition.
The prizes for the career, connected with the history of the FuoriSalone and assigned by the districts, went to Cappellini as a historic company in the sector, and to Tom Dixon for his work as a designer, with the prize bestowed by the Mayor of Milan, Giuseppe Sala.
