Due to the extreme lightness and physical properties of the material, the large ceramic slabs (1000×3000 mm) of minimum thickness (3/5.6 mm) by Laminam are widely utilized in architecture for exterior or interior facings and floors.

The architectural interpretation for the station of Potsdam applied by the Studio GMP Architekten of Hamburg (designers of the original project) is based on considerations of solidity, longevity, beauty and sustainability. Four principles that were also followed by KSP Jürgen Engel Architekten GmbH, in the design of the new flooring.

The floors are made with Laminam ceramic slabs in the format 1000x2700mm with a thickness of 5.6mm, from the I Naturali collection, in Pietra di Savoia Avorio, for a total area of 6500 m2.

Thanks to the texture, the surface prevents slipping, making it ideal for floors.
