The objective of the renovation project was to make additions for the construction of eight high-end housing units. The work included complete restoration of the existing facade, with a particular focus on the original characteristics of the building, its style and historical period. The large apartments have an open layout and large windows for abundant natural light. The three large private gardens have also been conserved, with different deck levels.
The client wanted to enhance the entrance area for a sense of immediate welcome. The choice went to the Tekno high-performance security door of Oikos Venezia, an outstanding example of aesthetic and functional excellence. The door opens completely, without visible hinges, for a sense of continuity and lightness.
The various residential units have the Tekno door in eight sectors in glossy black glass and one in steel, inserted in wide paneling made with the Synua Wall System and clad in the same glass material.
The internal facing by Tekno is the same as the finish of the outer surface of the door, but without the paneling, so as not to interfere with the image of the other furnishings.
