Margraf confirms its investment policies for 2016, focusing not only on innovative technologies for the quarrying and working of marble, but also on logistics and more efficient handling of blocks. The firm has announced the opening of a new advanced logistics center in Nuvolera, in the province of Brescia: Diacomp Now.
This innovative structure, with an area of 27,000 m2, is one of the largest of its kind for marble blocks in Italy, handling the supply and distribution of blocks from 7 quarries of Botticino owned by the company and 3 quarries, exclusively used by Margraf, of Botticino Classico, Semiclassico and Fiorito.
The high level of automation and the presence of qualified personnel operating with the highest standards of workplace safety make it possible to handle 13,000 m3 of marble per month.
