On Thursday, 30 June, during the presentation of the midyear report on events and exhibitions in 2016 at the Milan Triennale, Mini unveiled its partnership with the Milanese cultural institution.

The first joint project created with the support of Mini has been the restructuring of the foyer of the Teatro dell’Arte of the Triennale, working with the designer Jacopo Foggini to make the Mini Creative Area, an area of sharing and exchange, a stimulating environment increasingly open to Milanese and Italian creativity.

One word sums up the idea of the Mini Creative Area: foyer. With the accent on the root meaning of the term: hearth. Sharing, meeting other people, or enjoying a moment of relaxation and solitude.

A classic setting, in a warm atmosphere of amber tones, where noble materials like wood and leather meet the iconicFornasetti Ex Libris wallpaper, a modern mixture in Mini style.

The need for luminosity has prompted Foggini to create four gold and amber chandeliers, the same model found in the theater but on a smaller scale. Edra has produced the 37 Gina chairs the three Essential sofas in cognac-colored leather.
