Molteni&C furnishes a penthouse at 432 Park Avenue, designed by Matteo Nunziati

The architect Matteo Nunziati has designed the interiors of a penthouse with an area of 767 m2 at 432 Park Avenue in New York.

The new residential complex is in Manhattan, near Central Park. Completed in 2015, it has a height of 426 meters for 96 floors, making it the third-highest skyscraper in the city, and the highest in terms of its rooftop.

The architect Rafael Viñoly has created a building with essential rigorous lines, with the recurring geometric form of the square. The large communal areas have an image of extreme minimalism, and gain luminosity from the many windows.

432 Park Avenue contains 2800 m2 of areas for resident services. The restaurant on the 12th floor, run by award-winning chef Shaun Hergatt, is for residents only.

The 104 apartments, with sizes ranging from 250 to the 767 m2 of the luxurious penthouses, have two entrances, a private elevator for direct access, floor-based heating, sophisticated home automation systems and elegant finishing.

The large square windows are emphasized in the interior design by Matteo Nunziati for the penthouse: like sophisticated luminous frames, they present the spectacular views. The flooring is in wenge-stained oak squares, designed by Nunziati. The materials, finishes and furnishings create a timeless contemporary style.

The furniture has been selected from the products of the most prestigious international design companies. In particular, many pieces are from the Molteni&C collection for the living area (the Allure chair and the Trevi tables by Matteo Nunziati), the dining room (the Filigree table with Chelsea chairs by Rodolfo Dordoni) and the family room (the Breeze sofa by Nunziati, as well as the D.153.1 chair and D.552.2 table by Gio Ponti).
