The artificial island of Palm Jumeirah has the form of a palm tree, built on land reclaimed from the sea. It has been called “the 8th wonder of the world” and it is undoubtedly a historic facet in the growth of the renown of the city of Dubai (UAE).
Among the various international companies involved in the project, Paghera was selected to design the landscape of the island and the public/private area of the hotel and the shopping center.
The company conducted feasibility studies, carefully selecting technical features and the ideal tree species, with an eye on aesthetic results and reduction of maintenance costs.
The success of this landscape design project is based on Paghera’s extensive knowledge of native vegetation and climate.
