At the Food Hall of the Rinascente department store in Milan, the reopening of “Panini De Santis” with a new concept by Giuseppe Tortato Architetti

Panini De Santis gets an update. The restyling conducted by the studio Giuseppe Tortato Architetti combines the tradition of the Milan-based brand with the need for a forceful, timely design image.

A blend of past and present that becomes part of a context in which food approaches models that were found only in the high fashion sector in the past.

Tortato has renewed the image by interpreting it in terms of an “elegant, dynamic, healthy and friendly” lifestyle, in which the panino is the “true main ingredient.”

The large counter in copper and leather has a sinuous form, welcoming clients arriving from the various entrances to the space.

A comfortable and dynamic setting, enlivened by the light Semi Pendant lamps by Gubi and the optical game created by the geometric design of the floor tiles.

The wall facings alternate aquamarine paneling with Carrara marble to create a familiar yet also contemporary space.
