Piscine Castiglione-Myrtha Pools in the world, for a major new public project in the province of Bergamo, as part of the redevelopment project of the ‘Centro Natatorio Calusco.’ An ambitious renovation of an facility, reopened for the area in a new, more functional, contemporary and attractive guise.
Besides the expansion of the indoor swimming pool for adults and the children’s pool, a new free-form outdoor pool has been installed for play activities, inside the center’s Water Park. The large pool in the garden has hydromassage zones, neck massage fountains, recreational features and a beach area for youngsters. The water level gradually rises up to 110 cm, so that everyone can relax in the most appropriate area, in total safety.
The pools have been made with patented Myrtha technology, offering the benefits of concrete in terms of freedom of design, and the typical speed of prefabricated construction: thanks to the patented modular system, based on the use of stainless steel panels laminated at high temperatures with a strong layer of PVC, the system ensures great flexibility and precision of design, rapid installation, long life and freedom from maintenance.
Piscine Castiglione is recognized as a partner by FINA and by swimming federations around the world for the creation of pools for major sporting events, World and European Championships and the Olympic Games, including Atlanta 1996, Beijing 2008, London 2012 and the upcoming Olympics in Rio in 2016.
