In the natural context of the hills of Modica, near Ragusa, Platek lights have been chosen for the outdoor lighting of the new Stacci Rural Resort, an old farmhouse that has been renovated as a tourist facility. In an area of natural and archaeological importance covered by the UNESCO heritage listings, insertion in the context is one of the strong points of the project by the architect Giovanni Maiorana.
The Platek team responded to the requests of the lighting designer Angelo Sanzone (In Sensu), providing miniaturized, durable fixtures. The use of high-quality materials and LED light sources of the latest generation permits perfect integration with the rural context, generating ecosustainability, visual comfort and high levels of technical lighting performance.
