A glass of the finest wine and a book you just can’t put down. Often the most relaxing moments of our lives happen precisely in this context.

Ptolomeo Vino is the epitome of this idea, since it represents the transformation of the famous Original Ptolomeo bookcase by Opinion Ciatti into a wine rack. In Ptolomeo Vino the container steps aside to reveal the content. The wine bottles become the protagonists, bottles that seem to float on air, and thanks to their labels are transformed into an object of forceful decorative character.

Based on drawings left by Bruno Rainaldi, Ptolomeo Vino is a metal column joined to a system to contain the widest range of wine bottle types. The supports are designed to be as imperceptible as possible, generating the sensation of seeing a series of ‘suspended’ bottles.

Slim, elegant, essential, perfect for home and contract furnishings, the model is also available in a wall version that enhances its dramatic effect. Ptolomeo Vino can be made in three sizes and four finishes: bright white, sparking stainless steel, classic black, Cor-ten effect.
