Thanks to its innovative design, Duck, the arm awning by Gibus, has won the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2017. An important achievement for the product created in collaboration with the Milan-based design studio Meneghello e Paolelli.
Duck is convincing because of its personality. The rounded lines make it appealing, almost seeming to have a life of its own when the automatic opening and closing mechanism is activated.
The compact, round cassette in powder-coated extruded aluminium protects the fabric, ensuring longer life and less exposure to weather and corrosive agents. As perfect synthesis between functionality and design, Duck fits harmoniously into any context.
