On 5 June, World Environment Day, Canon announced that Scavolini is the first company in Italy to join the “Climate Neutral Printing” project for the calculation, reduction and compensation of CO₂ emissions caused by printing in companies.

Through a “carbon balancing” tool Scavolini has been able to calculate carbon dioxide emissions, reducing them by optimizing printing equipment, while balancing CO₂ through support for environmental initiatives.

Specifically, thanks to “climate-neutral printing,” Scavolini will contribute to compensate for over 181,600 kg of carbon dioxide through reduction certificates from a project for the construction of a hydroelectric power plant in Hamzali, Turkey.
