Sonos Beam is the new versatile smart speaker for television and music

Sonos presents Beam, a smart speaker capable of reproducing streaming content in the rooms of hte home where people spend most of their time. Designed to offer a simple, intense sound experience for all desired content (films, TV shows, music and podcasts), it works with over 80 music services, various voice assistants and Apple AirPlay 2.

Like all Sonos speakers, Beam is part of the Sonos Home Sound System that allows users to add two Sonos One units for surround sound, with a subwoofer, or to insert Beam in their own multi-room Sonos configuration.

It is possible to control Beam in different ways, with the voice, the Sonos app, third-party apps like Spotify, Audible, Pandora and Tidal, the remote control of a television set and smart home devices.
