Lucchese designs the European Flexo Hub of Kodak, drawing inspiration from the Factory of Andy Warhol

The objective of Kodak to make a meeting place of technology, design and modern “smart working trends” has led the Italian designer Francesco Lucchese to create a project based on an icon of the 20th century, Andy Warhol and his Factory.

Another source of inspiration for the project is the art of Piet Mondrian, where geometric lines convey a sense of technical aesthetics to sum up the concept between art and technology, thanks to areas featuring the colors of Kodak.

The Hub is organized around forceful black orthogonal lines, where colored areas become a clear reference point for display spaces. The office design applies the same things, but with a more domestic tone.

Work positions are inserted in a large dynamic loft space that adapts to changing needs. The lounge area offers a place where Kodak staffers can organize events, welcome clients or hold informal meetings.
