The famous restaurant – with 2 Michelin stars – known as Il Luogo di Aimo e Nadia, has been updated with restyling of the interiors done by the studio Vudafieri-Saverino Partners, and with the Theatrum dei sapori, a new space for encounters and master classes.
The architects Tiziano Vudafieri and Claudio Saverino have created a concept with an intimate, cozy atmosphere, enhanced by erudite references and refined design details.
The spaces contain historical links that transmit the values that have made Il Luogo di Aimo e Nadia a reference point on the Italian culinary scene. At the entrance, the original 1950s bar cabinet designed by Osvaldo Borsani immediately points to the relationship with the city of Milan. The dove gray and blue walls are decorated with rods of canaletto walnut that add rhythm to the space, creating unusual visual effects. The white linen-effect wallpaper wraps the rooms, while two mirrors with irregular forms – one-offs by Giampiero Romanò – create sophisticated symmetries.
Theatrum dei sapori contains an Arclinea kitchen, combined with an impressive table in cedar wood with an iron base, and two luminous installations created by Vudafieri Saverino Partners.
