At Arabba, in the heart of the Bellunese Dolomites, Mobart Ben – a company specializing in the design, production and supply of custom turnkey wooden furnishings – has completed the renovation of a residential space.

The apartment, chosen by its owners as a vacation home, located near the local ski lifts, has been enhanced by combining the main house with a small adjacent unit, for an overall area of 62 m2 for three rooms and two bathrooms.

The design and the implementation have been done entirely by the in-house project team. Mobart Ben has produced the furnishings, facings and doors, as well as the stone materials for the bathrooms, and supplied other furnishings, including lights, bath fixtures, seating, divans and fabrics, providing consulting for the choices and coordinating the work of the various craftsmen involved.

The clients wanted a warm, welcoming and extremely personalized atmosphere, with a vivid mountain style reinterpreted in a modern way, with wood as the main material.

Solid larch was selected, in a brushed antique finish – treated with oil – for all the furnishings, facings and suspended ceilings, as well as the doors.

The space alternates more traditional features (boiseries, ceilings with exposed beams, living room furnishings in wood, curtains) with contemporary touches (a white quartz kitchen counter, white walls, glass table tops, glossy painted glass), reflecting the company’s great versatility of design and production.
