Settef presents “Urbanocromie. The colors of the urban landscape,” a colors collection for the Milan of the future, by the architect Gianandrea Barreca

Urbanocromie is the collection of colors for facades dedicated to the city of Milan, created by the architect Gianandrea Barreca. The collaboration with Barreca marks the beginning of the program of Settef, a brand of the Cromology group, to invest in ongoing activities of research and development of colors for the architecture of Italian cities.

The collection responds to Settef’s desire to identify the most representative colors of the architecture of Milan – and other Italian urban contexts – for the future. This stimulus, and Barreca’s vision, have led to the Urbanocromie collection.

A hypothesis and a proposal for the architecture of the city, capable of suggesting – based on a well controlled range of colors for outdoor surfaces – an unusual, cosmopolitan chromatic future for the city, while respecting the local tradition.
