The marble of Margraf is the protagonist of the project by the architect Maurizio Giammarinaro for an exclusive residence in Sicily, both for the creation of an architectural space with innovative geometric design, and for the finishing of the minimal interiors.
The cladding of the facade with diagonal corner segments conveys the idea of three masonry blocks, entirely faced in Grigio Ducale marble. For the outdoor paving and the staircase at the main entrance Grigio Ducale has been used in a version that stands up to frost and prevents slipping, thanks to a hammered finish.
Inside, in one of the two bathrooms, Striato Olimpico marble – with its characteristic gray-white color with horizontal grain – creates a harmonious wellness zone, without visible seams. The second bathroom features Onice Verde, in a shiny bookmatched finish.
In the living room the fireplace, with its refined design, is made in Pietra Pernice. To further enhance the indoor spaces, the counters in the kitchen and bath, and the cladding of the bathtub, are in Bianco Thassos from the new Composite Stone Marble Resin by Margraf collection.
