The elegant design and interactive concept of the SweetCollection, the custom wellness itineraries of sp.a_system, innovative software for energy savings, and engineering for the dramatic swimming pool: these are the contributions of Starpool to the spa of the Mandarin Oriental Milano, winner in the category Interior Design of the Year of the European Hotel Design Award 2016, assigned by the English magazine Sleeper.

The arrangement of the spaces and the use of materials in the spa, designed by the architects Antonio Citterio and Patricia Viel in an area of 900 m2, are based on the principles of Feng Shui, creating a harmonious universe of holistic wellness and meditation.

The only wellness product inside the exclusive Spa Suite is SweetSpa by Starpool, designed by Cristiano Mino.

The two social areas feature two SweetSpa XL cabins in Calacatta marble, two SweetSauna XL units in oak, and special showers.

The Eco Spa Technology software is patented by Starpool. The sp.a_engineering division of the Trent-based company was involved in the engineering of the innovative swimming pool.
