Talent Garden, the largest European coworking network focusing on the digital sector, announces the opening of TAG Milano Calabiana, a space of over 8500 sq meters that aims at becoming the point of aggregation for digital entrepreneurs and creative talents of Europe in Italy.
The campus, one of the largest in Europe, at Via Calabiana 6, can host up to 400 professionals and is equipped with three event spaces, for a total capacity of over 1000 persons, and a terrace with a swimming pool. The campus also contains the TAG Innovation School, founded by Talent Garden to revolutionize the world of training, preparing students for the professions of the future.
TAG Milano Calabiana is located in the historic print shop that in 1842 printed The Betrothed by Alessandro Manzoni. Renovated by the Italian entrepreneur Marina Salamon, the space was used at first as a showroom.
Talent Garden has made this a place in which to experience new ways of working. The architectural design, which attempts to reinvent a workspace between contamination and digital fabrication, has been done by the studio Carlo Ratti Associati, directed by Carlo Ratti.
The campus is conceived to facilitate encounters and the growth of businesses and people, through natural acceleration and thanks to the services made available to members. Not just software but also hardware, TAG Calabiana aims at becoming a meeting place between manufacturing and digital making, thanks to the concept of a large fablab in which to produce and develop one’s own ideas.
The new Talent Garden headquarters in Milan will be a place of ongoing experimentation to find better ways of working, through the latest smartworking techniques. The facility contains a cafe, a lounge area, brainstorming zones and a screening corner, to allow professionals to stimulate processes of creativity and innovation.
Over 250 persons have already applied to be part of the largest campus of the TAG network; the remaining spots are still available, and can be reserved at: milano.talentgarden.org/calabiana.
The space will be open 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, and connected in real time to the other nine TAG facilities in Italy (Bergamo, Brescia, Cosenza, Padua, Genoa, Pisa, Turin, Pordenone, Rome) and those in Barcelona, Tirana and Kaunas (Lithuania).
