Big success for the presentation of the World Atlas, the limited-edition volume on architecture featuring the most interesting shots taken by the photographer Andrea Garuti of major achievements of Laminam in the world, on a journey to discover cultures and artistic spirits.
The presentation took place at the round table “The Planet on the Surface” inside the Biennale Library in the Central Pavilion at the Gardens.
The author and director Raffaello Fusaro moderated five authoritative contributions on contemporary culture and architecture: Gianluca Peluffo 5+1AA Alfonso Femia Gianluca Peluffo (Genoa-Milan, Italy), Anupama Kundoo, Anupama Kundoo Architects (Auroville, India / Madrid, Spain), Zhang Ke, ZAO / Standardarchitecture (Beijing, China), Humberto Campana, Estudio Campana (Sao Paulo, Brazil), Giuliana Bruno, Department of Visual and Environmental Studies, Harvard University (USA) .
The event also featured the presence of the curator of the Biennale Alejandro Aravena, who introduced the round table discussion.
The book is a limited edition, gathering over 150 photographs, organized in three reports: the first section of the book, the most emotional, narrates countries like Japan, India and Russia with a more artistic approach, followed by a selection of Laminam’s architectural references and a complete list of all Laminam projects worldwide.
