A space completely set aside for the exclusive services of the brand. The first Bespoke Atelier Ermenegildo Zegna, on the upper level of the Zegna global store on Via Montenapoleone, has a totally independent entrance at Via Bigli 26.

The whole project focuses on an idea of discreet elegance with a distinctive touch of Milanese taste. The iconic references are related to the splendor of the extraordinary Fifties, a period in which the city went through a magical moment. Tributes are scattered throughout the spaces to the architects who helped to shape the public and private identity of the modern metropolis: Giò Ponti, Alberto Portaluppi, Luigi Caccia Dominioni.

Bespoke is a unique service, demanding a precise ritual. The experience begins at the entrance, on street level, where an usher welcomes the client and accompanies him to the elevator, and then into the atelier on the upper level. The atelier is like a traditional tailor’s shop: an apartment with a workshop, where the spaces for receiving customers and those for the making of the apparel are clearly distinct but connected.

The space of over 107 square meters is furnished with vintage and new signature pieces that reflect the history of Zegna.

Two wooden doors and one sliding metal door with geometric decorations, an explicit tribute to Villa Necchi, lead to the main space where the tailor and the customer can get acquainted and swap ideas.

Even the bathroom becomes an intimate, refined space, featuring fine materials like Persian onyx and Portoro marble.
