After openings in Milan and Kitzbühel in 2014, Murano in 2015 and the historic Venice store, Carlo Moretti announces the launch of its 5th monobrand store, the first on the Asian market, confirming a path of international growth following the acquisition and new launch of the brand which began at the end of 2013.

“The opening of single-brand stores in the world is an integral part of our strategy to build an international brand,” commented the CEO of Carlo Moretti, Manuel Gomiero. “The Japanese market has huge potential for our industry, and Tokyo influences all of Asia, contributing to our expansion in those areas. We have a strong partner and we are confident of rapid growth in the other cities in this country.

The store design by Studio Tapiro of Venice is inspired, like that of the other monobrand stores, by the style of the first store in Venice at San Moisè, designed in 1979 by the artist Paolo Martinuzzi in collaboration with Carlo and Giovanni Moretti.

The space is spread over one level of 70 square meters, with two windows on the street. The display system consists of shelves in dark wenge wood and anthracite metal structures that support the lighting fixtures consisting of vertical suspension lamps.

The decision to use rough materials typical of functional factory furnishings brings out the purity and color of glass on display. An LCD touchscreen allows customers to scan through available items on their own.

The shop and the showroom in Tokyo (opening planned in 2016) have been created in partnership with the Japanese Manak Corporation, the exclusive distributor for the Japanese market.
