The temporary space of Marazzi in Milan created by Matteo Cibic with Studio Blanco, based on the image of a gentlemen’s club in London

Marazzi showroom, Via Borgogna 2, Milan

Open to the public until June 2018

The Tile Club is a new temporary space created by Marazzi to provide a gathering point for professionals and enthusiasts: it is open to anyone who is interested in ceramics as a form of art and architecture.

Designed by Matteo Cibic with Studio Blanco using the new slabs of the Grande 2018 collection, the space takes its cue from gentlemen’s clubs in London.

The Tile Club offers an evocative experience of the aesthetic qualities and technical performance of the new Marazzi collection, including special live events.

It contains five rooms: a lobby with a concierge, an open central lounge, a café, a Wunderkammer and a bistro.

The Tile Club features floors, facings and furnishings made with the Grande 2018 collection, which adds the super-formats 160×320 and 162×324 cm to the range of 120×120 and 120×240 cm tiles, and a new thickness of 12 mm alongside the 6 mm version. The new looks are based on the image of the finest types of marble, the material personality of concrete, the mineral appeal of metals, along with Grand Carpet, the collection created by Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, completely covering the café and the Wunderkammer.
