Spa Klab in Prato: wellness and relax by Casalgrande Padana

Lapo Bianchi Luci and Camilla Lapucci of the studio Cipiuelle have taken second place – with the Klab project – in the category “Facings, outdoor pavements, swimming pools and spas” of the 11th edition of Grand Prix by Casalgrande Padana.

The use of a wide range of ceramics in marble-effect porcelain stoneware from the Marmoker collection, in the colors Arabesque, Birimbau, Statuario Oro and Zebrino, the Marte collection in the colors Botticino and Verde Guatemala, and the Pietre di Paragone collection in Grè Grigio, leads to the definition of the rigorous geometric lines of the spaces of the spa.

The project comes from the idea of creating a place of psycho-physical wellbeing, an environment and atmosphere with the potential to become a true refuge from the frenzy of everyday life. The main idea has been to develop a spatial context that puts people into close contact with surfaces: light, air, the choice of colors like green and neutral tones for the furnishings and facings in porcelain stoneware, all produce sensations comparable to those experienced in a natural, uncontaminated setting.

Every space is like an enveloping, experiential room where colors, motifs and finishes of porcelain stoneware slabs form a refined pathway through places totally devoted to personal care.
