Domus Academy, the post-graduate school and research lab on themes of innovation in design and fashion, experience design and business design, experiments with a new format for Open Day, inviting all interested people to take part on Thursday 23 January, by reservation at this link.
It starts at 14.00 with a presentation and a visit to the school, accompanied by alumni who talk about their own experiences. There will also be an exhibition of the most interesting projects, allowing guests to see the results of various programs of Domus Academy, in tune with method of “learning by designing” in collaboration with the best companies in the sector.
At 16.00 guests can take part in a cross-disciplinary workshop, in which different approaches are not kept in separation but are allowed to intersect and contaminate each other. Guided by professors and program leaders, the participants will work with an assigned brief to create a moodboard on a given theme.
The workshop is a concrete example of the work conducted in a Masters program at Domus Academy, where students of different nationalities and backgrounds collaborate to formulate new design scenarios for the future.
The project selected as best will win a study grant of 50% tuition, co-branded with Technogym, for the Masters programs that begin in September 2020.
