In a former roadman’s house, the Motelombroso restaurant in Milan offers fine cuisine, music and art

The Motelombroso restaurant is the result of the desire of Alessandra Straccamore and Matteo Mazza, lovers of food, wine and hospitality, to create a place for new dining experiences.

The setting is a former roadman’s house – on the Naviglio Pavese in Milan – of 300 square meters with a garden of 350, renovated under the supervision of the architect Donatella Wallnofer who has also designed the greenhouse (dining room), and an area set up with furnishings designed by Stefano Bongiorno (also the creator of the sofa and the bar counter at the entrance).

Bongiorno has selected the works of art on view in the dining room, and artistic projects like the large mirror in the garden and the seats in stone and wood. The facility also includes a room on the first floor for wines, which can be reserved by the hour for dinners and tastings.

Motelombroso is a restaurant, but also a bar for aperitifs and after dinner or weekend gatherings, focusing on collaborations in the fields of publishing, music and art.
