A site-specific installation by Elena Salmistraro for Salvioni Milano Durini with Emmemobili

From 16 October 2019, the window of Salvioni Milano Durini is transformed into Wood Waves: the path of a thought, an original project created by the versatile designer and artist Elena Salmistraro specifically for this space.

Since the opening, this period building of six stories in the historical center has taken on a forceful character, and the owners have decided to set it aside every year for a special project to underscore its role as a container of exceptional initiatives of quality, a place of cultural research, inspiration and stimuli.

Salvioni Design Solutions as decided to select various voices from the world of design and architecture, and from representative companies in the sector, to present them in the guise of an exhibition inside its spaces.

The idea is to present the best of design Made in Italy, iconic pieces known to many or new creations of emerging brands, in line with the offerings of Salvioni, narrating them through original projects. This year Elena Salmistraro has made a site-specific work that is a story, a voyage through dreams and imagination.

The young designer narrates her Orbis collection, designed for the historic brand Emmemobili, in a unique, radical, intense installation.
