Gruppo Cosentino presents Pietra Kode, a new Dekton® collection signed by Daniel Germani, which tells of ultra-compact surfaces with high performance

With research, innovation and sustainability of products and production processes as the essential guide for each line proposed, Gruppo Cosentino  welcomes Design Week 2023 with Kode Dekton Stone, a new line of surfaces that reinterprets the timeless beauty and natural, elegant design of three classic stones: Vicenza stone, Travertine marble and Ceppo di Gré.

The molecular structure of each of the stones has been broken down and recoded in a contemporary key thanks to the ultra-compacting process of Dekton by Cosentino which enhances its properties and optimizes technical performance to offer surfaces with high performance for the world of architecture and design.

Dekton by Cosentino is in fact a surface that finds its founding value in compactness: a sophisticated blend of glass, latest generation porcelain materials and quartz obtained from over 20 natural minerals and made with the exclusive sintered particle technology (Sintered Particle Technology – SPT).

Dekton is the only zero impact surface in its category: Cosentino has offset 100% of CO2 emissions throughout the product's entire life cycle, making it Carbon Neutral.

Kode Dekton stone is a material that does not deteriorate, totally inorganic, of exceptional hardness and resistance, suitable for the most extreme conditions and for any application, from facades, to floors and cladding, up to worktops for bathrooms and kitchens, both indoors and outdoors. The only surface in its sector that completely minimizes its environmental impact, with carbon neutral emissions throughout its life cycle and that is committed to circularity, as enshrined in its Zero Waste certification.

The new Dekton Pietra Kode collection consists of three series, Vicenza Kode, Travertine Kode and Ceppo Kode, declined in seven color shades characterized by nuances that create a sensory experience that goes beyond the visual one and which maintain that code of beauty of the stones they are inspired by, which, evolved over the centuries, connects classicism with the contemporary.

"For this collection, I spent a lot of time decoding the history of each stone of Italian architecture and reinventing it into a contemporary design with all the Dekton benefits," said Daniel Germani. “Pietra Kode is a collection that enhances luxury in small sober details. It's designed with the future in mind and complements any space in a way that won't go out of style."
