The Med chair, presented by Acerbis, embodies the experimental approach of Giotto Stoppino and Lodovico Acerbis towards materials. Designed in 1983, it is re-edited respecting the authentic design rediscovered in the historical archives of Acerbis. Med represents a skillful combination of shapes and materials that enhance the characteristics of bent wood and its craftsmanship. The chair stands out for the strong recognisability of the leg profile that recalls the iconic Flatiron Building on Madison Avenue, New York, a distinctive feature also of the upright of the Madison bookcase, created by the same designers for Acerbis.
