Jack-e

The new Jack-e is a reinterpretation of the first Jack collection designed by Zanellato/Bortotto for Bolzan in 2017. Wanting to create a timeless object that would last as long as possible, the designers chose not to design a new bed, but to revive the original model in a brand new version that, with its fabrics, leather and wood, could tell the story of the excellent craftsmanship of some of the best manufactures in the area between Friuli and Veneto, where Bolzan is based. Jack-e fits into the path of sustainability that the company has been pursuing for some time and identifies with its philosophy and approach to design, becoming a witness to a virtuous world, in which vocation for the territory, beauty and respect for the environment become the fruit of a single drive to do good. At the origin of the bed, a simple and minimalist design: the structure, originally in painted metal and now in wood, is composed of two sides on which the tubes of the headboard and footboard are inserted, which, like two rollers, hold the upholstery, in fabric or leather, fixing it. The tubes can be customised in size to obtain the desired width: from French bed to king-size or made-to-measure. The bed is shipped totally disassembled to reduce the environmental impact of shipping. A bench and a small table complete the collection.
